Terms of Use

Calm finance provides information and access to the decentralized non-custodial protocol called the Calm Protocol (the “Calm Protocol” or “Protocol”). Calm finance is a front-end user interface independent of the Calm Protocol smart contracts which run in a decentralized manner on one or more blockchains. Calm.finance is one of many possible user interfaces that can provide access to the Protocol. There are no special permissions granted to the Calm.finance user interface as the Protocol is openly accessible and anyone can provide a user interface or access point to the Protocol.

You are entering into a binding agreement.

To utilize the Services, you must be legally capable of entering into the Agreement. By employing the Services, you declare and guarantee that you fulfill the eligibility criteria. If you do not satisfy the requirement, you must refrain from accessing or utilizing the Website or the Services.

Acceptance of Risk

The participation in transactions relying on smart contracts and experimental technology carries inherent risks. Transactions within the Protocol involve smart contracts across diverse blockchains, cryptographic tokens produced by these smart contracts, and emerging software interacting with blockchain networks. These technologies are speculative, experimental, and inherently precarious, subject to potential alterations.

Various risks include vulnerabilities, malfunctions, cyber assaults, or modifications to the underlying blockchain (such as forks), which could disrupt these technologies, potentially resulting in a complete loss of crypto assets, their market value, or digital funds. The safekeeping of the private key linked to the blockchain address used in Protocol interactions falls under your sole responsibility. We disclaim any liability for such risks.

Blockchain's immutability is a defining trait, implying that entries are typically irreversible or unchangeable by any party. This permanence extends to smart contracts and the cryptoassets generated by them.

You consent to the automated accumulation and distribution of proceeds by smart contracts. You recognize and accept that all transactions accessed through the Services will be automatically processed utilizing one or more blockchain-based smart contracts. By participating in transactions using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the automatic processing of all transactions in relation to utilizing the Services. You further recognize and consent that the applicable smart contract will dictate how the funds of a transaction and ownership of crypto assets are dispersed.

You recognize the risks associated with utilizing the Services. You hold sole responsibility for assessing the Services before their use, and any transactions accessed through these Services are irreversible, conclusive, and non-refundable. The functionality of the Services might be impaired, interrupted, or negatively affected due to complex cyber-attacks, increased activity, computer viruses, or various operational or technical hurdles, among other factors. We do not maintain an ongoing obligation to inform you about all potential risks involved in using and accessing our Services.
